We haul a variety of liquid products, from food-grade to fertilizers. Our trailers range from 4,500 gallons to 7,000 gallons, and include both kosher food-grade and non-food-grade trailers. We have a mix of trailers, both uninsulated, and insulated with heating. We haul various syrups, oils, condiments, and other food-grade liquids as well as lime, lysine, and fertilizers.
H&M Trucking was purchased by Travis and Betsy Hoffman in March 2013. Prior to that, Travis and Betsy had been operating Hoffman Trucking since 1999. Hoffman Trucking was started in the mid 70's by Travis's grandmother and sons Terry, Scott, and Kyle. Travis and Betsy's son Zion Hoffman, took over management and became part owner at the start of 2024. H&M currently has 1 terminal in Clinton, Illinois, that includes a kosher-approved tank wash facility and a full service mechanic shop. H&M owns 30+ tractors and 60+ trailers hauling both liquid and dry food-grade products. They also still operate the original Hoffman Trucking company which is located in Maroa, Illinois. Hoffman Trucking focuses on non-food grade products that farmers in central Illinois need which include fertilizer, organic and non-organic, rock and will even fill up pools occasionally.
We have approxmiately 25 bulk trailers that haul dry food-grade ingredients, such as various flakes, flours, sugars, grits, and starches.
